On several occasions Brad Pitt showed interest in directing a film about the biography of Marilyn Monroe, based on the novel by Joyce Carol Oates. And everything indicates that Angelina Jolie’s husband will finally take his project forward.
According to the Latin magazine CinePremiere, thanks to his friendship with director Andrew Dominik, Pitt defended the idea of directing Blonde, a film that the Australian filmmaker has wanted to make for two years.
Blonde would begin filming soon, with Pitt in one of the lead roles. Actress Katherine Copperfield is reportedly being cast to play Marilyn in her heyday.
